REQUIREMENTS: Grade 10/ABET/AET or equivalent qualification recognized by SAQA. Extensive experience in a cleaning environment. Knowledge, competencies, and skills: basic literacy and numeracy. Able to read and write. Communication skills. Good interpersonal relationships and knowledge of Batho Pele principles. Knowledge of cleaning products/materials and equipment. Knowledge in the management of cleaning equipment. Good interpersonal skills. Capacity to work under pressure. Teamwork. Customer orientation and responsiveness. Be able to do manual work. Show commitment and loyalty. Must be punctual, productive, and show good behavior towards customers. Knowledge of the Batho Pele principle. Safety and health measures. Work procedures related to the work environment.
FUNCTIONS: Cleaning of offices, warehouses, hallways, elevators, and meeting rooms. Remove dust and debris and provide water during meetings. Recharge water coolers. Washing walls and windows. Cleaning equipment and machinery. Cleaning windows and all kitchen utensils in general. Scrub bathrooms and polish office floors. Aspiration by vacuum machine. Provide toilet paper in bathrooms. Maintain and maintain cleaning materials and equipment.
