This is a unique opportunity to earn a fully accredited NQF Level 5 qualification while gaining valuable practical experience aligned with international project management standards such as PMBOK.
About CSOS Project Management Learnership Programme
The CSOS Project Management Learnership is a structured, full-time programme designed to provide learners with:
- Theoretical knowledge and practical skills in project management
- Training in key project phases: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure
- Exposure to public sector operations and compliance
- A nationally recognized NQF Level 5 certificate
The programme aligns with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and equips learners to work in administrative, planning, or assistant project manager roles upon completion.
Minimum Entry Requirements
To qualify for the CSOS Project Management Learnership programme, applicants must:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have completed Grade 12 (Matric)
- Possess a minimum NQF Level 4 qualification
- Have basic computer literacy
- Be proficient in English
- Not be currently employed
- Not be registered for any other studies
- Not have participated in any learnership previously
Only candidates who meet all requirements will be considered.

The Community Schemes Ombud Service (CSOS) is a Schedule 3A public entity, established in terms of the CSOS Act (No. 9 of 2011). CSOS exists to regulate and promote good governance within community housing schemes in South Africa and operates under the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA).
