Join SANParks as a General Worker at Skukuza Rest Camp in Kruger National Park. On-site role, permanent post.

About the Role

South African National Parks (SANParks) is seeking a General Worker to join the Marula Region at Skukuza Rest Camp in the Kruger National Park. This is a permanent, on-site position and the successful candidate will be required to live inside the park.

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the workplace
  • Housekeeping and hygiene skills
  • Good command of English (written and verbal)
  • Tool handling and aftercare experience
  • Supervisory skills (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities for General Worker

  • Clean chalets, ablution facilities, and surrounding areas to set standards
  • Maintain and control inventory items
  • Report maintenance faults and equipment issues
  • Clean and maintain cleaning tools and equipment
  • Assist with supply collection and general camp duties
  • Support laundry operations and other ad hoc tasks assigned by supervisor
