Position Overview

We are looking for a Junior Finance Analyst under the Youth Employment Service (YES) Program, based in Midrand, to support the Finance team with key analytical, reporting, and forecasting tasks. This is an ideal opportunity for recent Finance graduates to gain hands-on experience within a globally renowned healthcare organisation.

Responsibilities for a Junior Finance Analyst

Under supervision, your key tasks will include:

  • Analyzing and reporting on business insights and KPIs
  • Maintaining accurate updates of MTA and MBR figures in the Future Path platform
  • Supporting with quarterly/monthly forecasts (FCs) and actualization
  • Reviewing Free Cash Flow (FCF), selling expenses, and discretionary spending
  • Supporting posting of journals and purchase requisitions
  • Collaborating with Service departments to monitor OCOGS
  • Tracking and clearing WebCycles and interim accounts
  • Monitoring and managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Engaging in digitalization and process improvement initiatives

As a Junior Finance Analyst You will also receive training and development in:

  • Interpersonal & communication skills
  • Microsoft Office and online reporting tools
  • Organizational, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
  • Business systems and financial processes

Minimum Requirements

  • Completed Degree in Finance or related field
  • Basic understanding of financial principles and processes
  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must meet YES Programme eligibility criteria (Aged 18–34, currently unemployed)
  • Preferably from a designated diversity group as per employment equity targets
