Learnership Opportunity Overview
Are you a young, unemployed South African eager to gain real-world work experience, earn a stipend, and receive accredited training?
The Santam Learnership Programme 2025 offers a unique opportunity to gain a National Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (NQF Level 4) while completing regulatory exams (RE5). Successful learners may qualify for membership with the Insurance Institute of South Africa (IISA).
Requirements for Santam Learnership Programme
To apply, you must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) with:
- 50% minimum in English & Second Language
- 40% in Mathematics or 60% in Maths Literacy
- South African citizen
- Aged between 18 – 28
- Unemployed
- Not currently studying or enrolled elsewhere
- Not previously part of an INSETA Learnership in Short-Term Insurance
- Less than 1 year of work experience

Who Should Not Apply
- Individuals with post-matric qualifications (certificates, diplomas, degrees, etc.)
- Anyone currently studying or with more than 1 year of work experience
