Job Responsibilities
As a Shift Loader, your core duties will include:
- Loading and offloading freight from long-distance (linehaul) trucks
- Assisting with local vehicle load/unload operations when required
- Maintaining a clean, organized warehouse work area
- Meeting daily operational timelines for cargo distribution
- Adhering to safety protocols and security standards
- Assisting with basic cargo identification and verification tasks
- Supporting warehouse colleagues and supervisors as needed
Minimum Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Grade 10 / Std 8
- Ability to communicate clearly in English
- Work independently without supervision
- Willingness to work overtime to meet client needs
- Physical stamina to handle manual loading tasks
- Own reliable transport to and from the workplace
- Strong integrity, reliability, and neat personal presentation
Note: Prior experience in the freight or logistics industry will be beneficial.
