About the Role

The City of Ekurhuleni is seeking a dedicated Administrator to support its Title Deeds Project under the Human Settlement Department. Requirements for Title Deeds Administrator

To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
  • Post-matric qualification (NQF level to be verified)
  • Computer literacy
  • South African citizen
  • Resident of Ekurhuleni (Please specify your Ward on CV)
  • Aged 18–35 years (However, applicants over 35 will be considered)
  • Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Conflict management skills
  • Ability to engage with communities and conduct outreach work

Core Responsibilities

  • As a Title Deeds Administrator, your tasks will include:
  • Attending departmental and community meetings as required
  • Compiling daily, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Following up on queries related to title deeds
  • Reporting to the supervisor or manager on title deed issues
  • Conducting house-to-house title deed verification
  • Profiling beneficiaries to confirm eligibility
  • Assisting in the distribution of title deeds
  • Tracing the whereabouts of unclaimed title deed beneficiaries
  • Identifying causes of title deed backlog and blockages
  • Keeping detailed records of tasks and referrals
