About the Opportunity (Grants Review Contract Workers)
SASSA is seeking dedicated and service-oriented individuals to support the Grants Review Programme across multiple districts in the Free State. Successful candidates will assist with beneficiary reviews, grant administration, record management, data capturing, and community outreach initiatives to ensure social grants are administered accurately and efficiently.

Minimum Requirements

Beneficiary Reviews and Screening
- Conduct beneficiary screenings
- Complete manual review applications
- Verify information submitted for grant reviews
- Process life certificate reviews
- Assist beneficiaries through review processes
Community Outreach and Mobile Services
- Conduct home visits for frail or immobile beneficiaries
- Participate in mobile review campaigns in remote communities
- Support mass review events at municipal offices and community halls
- Assist beneficiaries with service navigation and enquiries
Data Capturing and Record Management
- Update beneficiary information on the SOCPEN system
- Perform Beneficiary Biometric Enrolment processes
- Capture and maintain grant-related information
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date beneficiary records
- Scan and index supporting documentation
Compliance and Verification
- Verify supporting documents and beneficiary information
- Identify cases requiring suspension or lapsing of grants
- Detect overpayment recovery cases
- Refer suspicious cases for investigation
- Ensure audit-ready records are maintained
Reporting and Administration
- Prepare review reports
