About the AFGRI Graduate Programme

The AFGRI Graduate Programme is designed to equip graduates with practical, hands-on experience in the agricultural and animal nutrition industry. Successful candidates will gain comprehensive exposure by performing a variety of duties aligned to:

• Sales and Marketing functions
• Operational Nutrition support
• Research and data analysis
• Customer and technical engagement

This structured programme allows graduates to apply academic knowledge in a professional environment while building strong technical and commercial skills.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the AFGRI Graduate Programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must not have worked full-time in their field of study for more than one year
• Should be based in or willing to relocate to Centurion
• Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (Animal Science)
• A Master of Science in Agriculture (Animal Nutrition) will be advantageous
• Knowledge of animal nutrition principles
• Strong research and data analytical skills
• Ability to collect and interpret data accurately
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Programme Duration

• Successful candidates will be appointed on a 24-month fixed-term contract
• The programme provides structured workplace learning and professional development
