About the Colliery Internship

Canyon Coal (Pty) Ltd is inviting unemployed graduates to apply for its two-year Internship Programme at Gugulethu Colliery. This programme offers practical workplace experience in the mining sector and aims to support career growth for young professionals.

Internship Fields Available

The internship is available for graduates in the following fields:

• Social Sciences
• Developmental Studies
• Human Resource Development

Minimum Requirements

Applicants for Colliery Internship must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a relevant degree in Social Sciences, Developmental Studies, or Human Resource Development.
• Be a South African citizen, aged 18–35 years.
• Be computer literate with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preference Will Be Given To:

• Women and persons with disabilities.
• Previously disadvantaged individuals from the Msukaligwa Local Municipality.
• Financially disadvantaged South African citizens.
