Graduate Trainee Program Overview (Cross Functional)

The Graduate Trainee – Cross Functional role supports financial governance, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration while building strong analytical, compliance, and business skills. Graduates will rotate across multiple departments, gaining real-world exposure and practical experience in a structured development environment.

Key Responsibilities

Finance Core Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of monthly financial reports, dashboards, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking activities
• Participate in month-end close processes, including journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Assist with monitoring sales deductions, accruals, and invoice processing

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Support compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits

Rotational Assignments (Cross Functional Exposure)

Regulatory Affairs Rotation

• Support documentation and tracking of product registrations and regulatory submissions
• Maintain regulatory databases and compliance trackers
• Gain exposure to South African health authority requirements and internal compliance processes

Supply Chain Rotation

• Assist with demand planning and forecasting
• Support inventory monitoring, stock availability, and expiry risk management
• Gain exposure to logistics coordination, order management, and distributor supply processes

Additional Functional Exposure

• Participate in short-term projects within Commercial Operations, HR, or Quality
• Support cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving processes and efficiencies

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, legal frameworks, and South African regulations
• Apply an integrated dermatology strategy mindset in daily responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizen or eligible to work in South Africa (Employment Equity applies)
• 0–1 year of work experience (internships or vacation work advantageous)
• Bachelor’s degree in:
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Supply Chain
  • Business
  • or related field
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Power BI or ERP exposure is advantageous)
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and stakeholders
• Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn across disciplines
