Who Should Apply DHET Graduate Internship And WIL Programme?

This programme is ideal for:

• Recent graduates who have completed academic requirements for their field of study
• WIL students needing practical workplace experience
• South African citizens who are currently unemployed
• Candidates who have not previously participated in any internship or public sector graduate programme

Application Instructions

To apply, you must:

1. Complete the new Z83 application form (effective from 01 January 2021) – Download Z83 here (DPSA)
2. Attach a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae (CV)
3. Clearly state the field of study you’re applying for
4. Quote the correct Reference Number from the internship advert

• This is a non-renewable, fixed-term internship
• Interns will undergo qualification, background, and reference checks
• Foreign qualifications must be verified by SAQA
• People with disabilities and individuals from underrepresented groups are encouraged to apply
