Minimum Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• Grade 10 or ABET Level 4
• 1–2 years of relevant driving experience
• A valid, unexpired South African driver’s licence
• Excellent driving and communication skills (verbal & written)
• Ability to read maps and use GPS
• Basic computer literacy
• Good time management, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Driver Messenger, your responsibilities will include:

• Operating light and medium motor vehicles
• Collecting, distributing, and delivering documents between departments
• Transporting employees to official destinations
• Taking vehicles for maintenance and repairs
• Performing vehicle inspections before and after usage
• Arranging for vehicle cleaning and upkeep
• Supporting vehicle register and logbook checks
• Assisting with document filing, photocopying, and emailing
• Signing off on delivery notes
