Minimum Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Grade 10 or ABET Level 4
- 1–2 years of relevant driving experience
- A valid, unexpired South African driver’s licence
- Excellent driving and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to read maps and use GPS
- Basic computer literacy
- Good time management, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills
Key Duties & Responsibilities
As a Driver Messenger, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating light and medium motor vehicles
- Collecting, distributing, and delivering documents between departments
- Transporting employees to official destinations
- Taking vehicles for maintenance and repairs
- Performing vehicle inspections before and after usage
- Arranging for vehicle cleaning and upkeep
- Supporting vehicle register and logbook checks
- Assisting with document filing, photocopying, and emailing
- Signing off on delivery notes
