Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Driver Messenger vacancy, you must have:

• Grade 10 certificate or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 2)
• Valid driver’s license (essential)
• Good knowledge of Public Service policies and procedures
• Time management and planning skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Discipline and reliability suitable for working in the Executive Authority’s office

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Driver Messenger, your key tasks will include:

• Collecting and delivering confidential documents within the Office of the Executive Authority
• Transporting employees, guests, and special advisors of the Executive Authority
• Providing general support services in the Executive Authority’s office
• Maintaining an understanding of departmental policies and procedures
• Conducting routine vehicle maintenance and reporting defects promptly
• Completing logbooks and relevant records for vehicles and goods transported
