Key Responsibilities

As a Picker/Packer, your daily duties will include:

• Accurately picking and packing customer orders based on requisitions
• Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming stock
• Labelling, wrapping, and securing items for dispatch using shrink/stretch wrap or strapping
• Maintaining stock records and reporting shortages or damages
• Ensuring all shipments are correct and defect-free
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and organized
• Following Occupational Health & Safety guidelines at all times

Requirements for ACDC Picker Packer

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar picker/packer or warehouse role
• Good verbal communication skills
• Physical agility and the ability to handle manual labour
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse team
• Experience with tools used in packaging and shipping
