Position Overview: AVBOB Cradock Life General Worker

We are looking for a dependable, hard-working General Worker to help maintain high cleanliness standards at our Cradock Life office. The successful candidate will ensure our premises are always tidy, sanitized, and welcoming to clients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities of AVBOB Cradock Life General Worker

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Office & Facility Cleaning

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum office floors daily
• Dust and polish desks, chairs, windowsills, and decorative items
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, toilets, and hand basins
• Wash and wipe office windows and glass partitions
• Regularly empty waste bins and replace liners

Kitchen & Beverage Duties

• Prepare tea and coffee for meetings or staff
• Wash and dry dishes and clean kitchen counters
• Ensure tea, coffee, sugar, and milk supplies are always replenished
• Refill water dispensers and sanitize them regularly

Supplies & Hygiene Management

• Refill and monitor stock of soap, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and other hygiene materials
• Notify management when cleaning supplies or consumables are low

Interpersonal & Support

• Maintain a friendly, respectful demeanor with clients and colleagues
• Support team members in preparing meeting rooms or maintaining neat common areas
• Follow all workplace health and safety protocols
• Report maintenance issues or cleaning equipment faults to supervisors

Job Requirements for AVBOB Cradock Life General Worker

• Minimum Grade 10
• Previous cleaning experience is advantageous
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal) is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-focused
