About the Role (BUCO Driver)

BUCO George is looking for a professional Driver (9001–16000 Kg) to join its dedicated logistics team. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of goods to customers, while maintaining company values and high service standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in customer service, vehicle care, and accurate delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliveries & Logistics

• Safely deliver goods to customers on time.
• Ensure the vehicle is neatly packed to prevent damages.
• Supervise and assist with loading and offloading of products.
• Collect COD payments where required.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct daily inspection checks on the vehicle.
• Report defects and ensure preventative maintenance.
• Take measures to reduce vehicle costs and fuel usage.
• Ensure all delivery notes are signed and authorized.

Customer Service & Company Values

• Uphold the company’s service standards and culture.
• Provide friendly and professional customer interaction.
• Maintain accurate records and delivery documentation.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid driver’s license: Code 10 (HV) or Code 8 (LV) for vehicles between 9001–16000 Kg.
• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
