Join Montego as a Casual General Worker – Only When Needed!

Are you currently unemployed in Graaff-Reinet and ready to work at short notice? Montego Pet Nutrition is building a reliable pool of Casual General Workers to assist our production and packaging teams on a non-continuous basis.

This role offers flexibility with no long-term commitment – ideal for individuals available on-call, ready to step in when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a casual worker, your tasks will vary depending on operational needs. These may include:

• Assisting with loading and unloading goods
• Sorting, packing, and moving stock manually
• Preparing and wrapping pallets
• Lifting dog food bags (up to 40kg)
• General cleaning and tidying of work areas
• Labelling and packaging products
• Supporting the production process and treats facility

Important to Know

• This is not a permanent job
• Work is ad hoc, based on company requirements
• No guaranteed hours or fixed schedule
• You are paid only for the hours you work

Minimum Requirements for Casual General Worker

• Grade 12 / Matric (NQF Level 4)
• Must live in Graaff-Reinet
• Must be currently unemployed
• Available at short notice
