About the Chemical Plant Operator Learnership Programme
The Chemical Plant Operator Learnership is a structured training programme combining:
- Workplace-based practical training
- Institutional or classroom-based learning
- Competency assessments and technical skills development
Successful candidates will gain hands-on exposure to chemical plant operations within the Natref production environment.
Learnership Responsibilities
Participants will be required to:
- Participate fully in the learnership training programme
- Complete all required assessments successfully
- Attend workplace readiness training activities
- Apply technical knowledge in real operational environments
- Follow safety, health, and environmental compliance standards
The programme is designed to build operational competency in industrial chemical processing environments.
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have completed a National Senior Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification with passes in:
- Technical Mathematics or Mathematics
- English or Business English
- Technical / Physical Science
