About the Short-Term Insurance Learnership

This structured learnership programme combines classroom-based learning with practical workplace experience in short-term insurance operations.

On successful completion, learners will receive a:

FETC: Short-Term Insurance, NQF Level 4 Qualification

This qualification is nationally recognised and provides a solid foundation for building a career in the insurance sector.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be between 18 and 25 years old (including turning 25 in 2025)
• Be able to speak, read, and write English
• Have passed Matric
  • Minimum 50% for English (required)
  • Mathematics will be advantageous
• Be computer literate
• Be currently unemployed with no work experience
• Not be studying or registered for another qualification
• Not hold any post-Matric qualification
• Not be registered for any other learnership
• Have a genuine interest in short-term insurance
• Have a clear criminal and credit record
