Capricorn Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) College invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for two Driver vacancies at the Central Office in Polokwane. If you have a valid Code 10 driver’s licence with PDP and experience handling official transport duties, this is a great opportunity to join the public education sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for Driver x2

• Transport work teams, materials, and equipment to required destinations
• Detect and report vehicle defects and arrange necessary repairs
• Perform pre-trip inspections (check oil, water, tyres, fuel, etc.)
• Complete and maintain accurate vehicle logbooks and trip authorisations
• Record fuel consumption and kilometre readings
• Follow all safety and vehicle operation procedures

Minimum Job Requirements

• Grade 10 / Standard 8 qualification
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
• 7 to 12 months relevant driving experience
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, trip logging, and transport protocols
• Ability to conduct inspections and minor repairs on vehicles
