Key Responsibilities:

As a Truck Assistant, your daily duties will include:

• Loading and off-loading goods at the depot and client locations
• Stacking goods safely in designated areas
• Ensuring cargo is secure on the vehicle at all times
• Assisting with general housekeeping and cleanliness of the truck and depot
• Supporting the driver with route guidance and cargo checks

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
• Valid Code 10 Driver’s License (Unendorsed)
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• Strong communication skills in English
• Physically fit and capable of manual labor
• Own transport to and from work
• Able to work:
  • Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
  • Overtime and unsociable hours when required
• High levels of integrity, reliability, and presentability
• Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
• Excellent listening and teamwork skills
