Mazars South Africa is offering an exciting YES Learnership opportunity in the Global Infrastructure Finance (GIF) division. This role is perfect for aspiring finance professionals who want to gain world-class financial modelling skills, hands-on corporate finance experience, and exposure to high-impact infrastructure projects.

You will work in the Johannesburg office, collaborating daily with team members across multiple global offices. As part of your training, you will receive expert tuition in the FAST financial modelling standard using Microsoft Excel – a globally recognized methodology for producing accurate, transparent, and efficient financial models for long-term budgeting, operations, and transactions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

In this learnership(GIF Analyst YES Learnership), you will:

• Perform model assurance/model auditing using the shadow modelling approach with tested templates.
• Review project-related documents, including credit agreements, tax and accounting reports, and payment mechanisms for assurance purposes.
• Contribute to process improvements for model auditing procedures to increase quality and productivity.
• Engage directly with clients, including energy and infrastructure project financiers, investors, developers, government agencies, and advisors.
