Job Overview (Hygiene Operators)

Ecowize is hiring 22 Hygiene Operators in Durban to maintain world-class hygiene and sanitation standards. This role requires individuals with deep cleaning experience who can follow the 10-Step Cleaning Process to ensure a safe, hygienic, and food-compliant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning according to the 10-Step Cleaning Process.
• Maintain food safety standards to ensure a food-safe site.
• Execute CIP and deep cleaning processes.
• Manage chemical stock control effectively.
• Follow daily work schedules and instructions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and meet service expectations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Proven deep cleaning experience (essential).
• Chemical stock control knowledge.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and on short notice.
• Flexibility to work at different sites when required.
• Experience in the food production industry is advantageous.
