Key Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Fitter Apprentice, you will:

• Participate in structured theoretical and practical training sessions.
• Assist in engineering maintenance and repair tasks under supervision.
• Gain experience in machine fitting, installation, and troubleshooting.
• Work alongside experienced technicians to support plant operations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to meet departmental goals.
• Adhere to safety standards and operational procedures at all times.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered, applicants must meet the following:

• Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
• N5/N6 Mechanical Engineering qualification (essential).
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Reside within a 40km radius of Kempton Park (areas such as Tembisa, Kempton Park, Germiston, etc.).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A team player with a willingness to learn.
• Not currently enrolled in any other learnership or apprenticeship programme.
• A genuine interest in the gas and manufacturing industry.
