Operations Excellence Analyst Role Overview

The Operations Excellence Analyst forms part of an internal governance and improvement function focused on enhancing efficiency, accountability, and execution quality across business units.

The role reports directly to the Head of the Efficiency Committee and involves close collaboration with operational teams and management to drive fact-based decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Process Mapping & SOP Development

• Work on-site with operational teams to understand daily workflows
• Map end-to-end processes for key roles and functions
• Identify process gaps, risks, inefficiencies, and handover issues
• Develop and standardise SOPs, workflow diagrams, and operating guidelines

Data & Basic Performance Analysis

• Review and interpret operational data reports and dashboards
• Identify key data points and performance indicators
• Conduct basic data analysis to support operational improvements
• Link data insights to measurable outcomes such as efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
• Prepare structured, evidence-based reports

KPI Design & Management Support

• Assist management in defining clear and measurable KPIs
• Explain KPI logic, measurement methods, and operational impact
• Support departments in aligning KPIs with execution and processes

Operational Audits & Reviews

• Conduct on-site operational checks and execution reviews
• Track KPI performance and identify deviations

Minimum Requirements

Education
