Boxer Superstores is seeking General Workers to join its Cape Town Distribution Centre (Airport Industria). These permanent warehouse positions offer long-term employment and growth opportunities within a fast-paced retail supply chain environment.

Available roles include Receiving, Picking, Loading, Cycle Counting, Forklift Operator, Reach Truck Operator, Auditors, and Combiners. Placement will depend on your skills and experience.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for these General Workers jobs, applicants must meet the following:

• Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
• 0–2 years warehouse experience (role allocated based on experience)
• Basic Excel proficiency
• Good communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team-oriented and deadline-driven
• Basic mathematical skills
• Forklift or Reach Truck licence (required for operator roles)
• Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends, Sundays, and public holidays

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for:

• Picking stock accurately according to picking slips
• Loading and offloading delivery trucks
• Moving, stacking, and packing pallets safely
• Operating forklifts and reach trucks (where applicable)
• Combining stock and shrink-wrapping pallets for store deliveries
• Tracking and recording stock quantities in the warehouse
• Conducting cycle counts and checking stock for damages
• Ensuring expiry dates are correct before dispatch
• Returning damaged, short-dated, or overstocked items to the DC on time
