Learnership Overview (OUTsurance OSS Hastings Learnership)
This 12-month structured work-based programme provides unemployed youth with valuable workplace experience. It’s designed to help learners gain skills, knowledge, and practical exposure to help secure future employment in their chosen careers.
The successful applicants will sign a Learnership Agreement (not an employment contract) and receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.
Minimum Qualifications
OUTsurance OSS Hastings Learnership Applicants must have:
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office).
- No prior work experience required.
Additional Eligibility (INSETA Requirements)
To qualify for this OUTsurance OSS Hastings Learnership, candidates must:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Be unemployed for at least the last 6 months.
- Not have previously participated in an INSETA learnership.

Working Hours
- Friday to Monday (9-hour shifts).
- Saturdays (8 hours).
- Sundays (5 hours).
- Two weekdays off (Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday).
- One day per week dedicated to on-site Full Qualification Training.
- Public holidays: You will be required to work a full day if scheduled, unless it’s a UK public holiday.
