Treasury Internship Overview

The Northern Cape Provincial Treasury (NCPT) invites applications from unemployed graduates who are residents of the Northern Cape Province to join its 24-month Internship Programme (1 Nov 2025 – 31 Oct 2027). Successful candidates will receive a stipend of R94 326 per annum and gain valuable workplace experience in line with their field of study.

This opportunity is designed to support youth empowerment, skills development, and public service career growth.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have an NQF Level 6 qualification or higher in the relevant field, including (depending on the post):

  • Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, Econometrics
  • Supply Chain Management, Asset Management
  • Built Environment, Risk Management
  • Information Technology, Data Science, Information Systems
  • Law (Bachelor of Law for Norms & Standards posts)

Stipend

All interns will receive R94 326 per annum for the 24-month duration.
