Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering unemployed youth the opportunity to join the Visual Merchandiser Learnership Programme 2025. This structured 12-month programme provides participants with practical workplace training, commercial knowledge, and merchandising skills to build a successful career in sales and marketing.

This role is based in the Eastern Cape at the following locations:

• Gqeberha (Motherwell, Gelvandale)
• Kariega

The learnership is aligned to a nationally recognized qualification requiring 120 credits.

About the Learnership (Visual Merchandiser Learnership 2025)

The programme equips learners with the ability to:

• Grow product volumes through customer service and merchandising.
• Facilitate order-taking processes using Coca-Cola’s MyCCBA platform.
• Implement and monitor merchandising standards across direct and indirect customers.
• Execute promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.
• Gain first-hand exposure to the sales process and customer engagement.

Learners will report directly to the Account Developer and work closely with sales teams, managers, and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• In-Store Execution: Implement daily call schedules across assigned outlets.
• Merchandising Excellence: Ensure stock rotation, product displays, and availability in line with Coca-Cola’s RED execution standards.
• Customer Support: Educate customers on ordering systems and assist with promotions.
• Brand Visibility: Support marketing campaigns and provide relief support where needed.

Minimum Requirements

To apply for Visual Merchandiser Learnership 2025, candidates must have:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with:
  • Maths/Maths Literacy (minimum 40%)
  • English and a second language (minimum 40%)
• South African citizenship
• Age between 18 – 35 years
• Unemployed at the time of application
• Employment Equity candidate
• No criminal record or adverse credit history
• Consent to criminal, ID, and qualification verification

Additional requirements:

• Driver’s Licence (advantageous)
• Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing (advantageous)
• Must be available to work 6 days a week
• Must not be enrolled in another learnership, full-time studies, or have completed the same programme previously
