Econo Foods, a fast-growing FMCG retail leader in frozen foods, is looking for a Warehouse Operator specializing in Loose Case and Layer Picking. This role is essential to our order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency in every order we deliver.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack products according to picking instructions
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and pallet stability
• Count and verify picked items to maintain order accuracy
• Report any out-of-stock or short-picked items during the process
• Use warehouse picking equipment safely and efficiently
• Collaborate with inventory control to maintain accurate stock records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Report damaged goods or packaging concerns for resolution
• Participate in ongoing training to improve warehouse skills
• Follow standard operating procedures and adhere to safety protocols

Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar warehouse position (FMCG preferred)
• Valid Electric Pallet Jack License
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills aligned with Econo Foods’ HO HOLA culture
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, competitive environment
• Excellent English communication skills (written & verbal)
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge
