Graduate Programme Overview (Westfalia Fruit Graduate)

Westfalia Fruit invites applications from young, talented, and ambitious graduates to join its 2026 Accelerated Graduate Programme (AGP). The programme offers structured on-the-job training, rotational exposure, and hands-on industry experience within a dynamic agribusiness environment.

Graduates will develop professional, technical, and leadership skills while building a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

Key Responsibilities

Successful graduates will:

  • Participate in a structured graduate development and rotation programme
  • Apply academic knowledge to real-world business operations
  • Support daily operational, technical, or administrative activities
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Attend training, mentoring, and development interventions
  • Prepare progress reports and project updates

Fields of Study Required

Applicants must hold a BSc, BEng, BEngTech, BCom, BTech, or equivalent Degree in one of the following disciplines (or related fields):

  • Agricultural Engineering – Tzaneen
  • Electrical Engineering – Tzaneen
  • Industrial Engineering – Tzaneen & Johannesburg
  • Mechanical Engineering – Tzaneen
  • Horticulture – Tzaneen
  • Agricultural Science – Tzaneen
  • Plant Pathology – Tzaneen

  • Health & Safety – Tzaneen, Johannesburg & Howick
  • Biotechnology / Food Science – Tzaneen & Howick
  • Supply Chain / Logistics – Tzaneen

Minimum Requirements

Applicants for Westfalia Fruit Graduate must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have completed a relevant qualification in one of the listed disciplines
  • Be 35 years or younger
  • Demonstrate strong motivation and willingness to learn
