About the Internship

LIT South Africa invites talented and ambitious graduates to apply for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Internship Programme 2025/2026 in partnership with MICT SETA.

This 12-month structured graduate programme offers newly qualified ICT graduates the opportunity to gain valuable workplace experience in Artificial Intelligence and related digital technologies. It’s designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical, real-world skills.

Programme Objectives

The goal of the LIT AI Internship is to:

• Help graduates explore career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence.
• Provide hands-on training and mentorship in key AI applications.
• Develop technical and professional skills in ICT and AI fields.
• Offer practical work experience aligned with industry standards.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• South African Citizen with a valid ID book or smart card.
• Matric Certificate (Grade 12).
• Completed qualification at NQF Level 5 or 6 in Media, Information, or Communication Technology (ICT) from a recognized institution.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Computer literate with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office and general ICT systems.
• Must not have participated in any previous internship programme.
• Must not have more than 2 years of work experience.

Note: Preference will be given to Employment Equity (EE) candidates in accordance with company transformation policies.
