About the CIPC Graduate Internship Programme

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), an agency under the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), is offering a Facilities Management Graduate Internship Programme 2025.

This exciting 24-month opportunity is designed for unemployed South African graduates who are passionate about property, facilities, and building management. The internship will be based at the CIPC Sunnyside Office in Pretoria, providing hands-on experience in the public sector.

Purpose of the Internship

The Graduate Internship Programme aims to provide unemployed graduates with valuable workplace experience, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application. It’s a great way to:

• Gain practical exposure in facilities and property management.
• Build professional skills in administration and building operations.
• Develop a foundation for a successful career in the public service sector.

Who Can Apply?

This opportunity is open to:

• Unemployed South African graduates aged between 18 and 35 years.
• Graduates who have never participated in any internship or work experience programme before.
• Applicants with no previous formal work experience.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma or Degree in Building Construction Service or Business Administration.
• National Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management or Property Management.

Additional requirements:

• Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID.
• Must submit all supporting documents (CV, ID, qualifications) correctly on the system.
• Must not have previously participated in any CIPC Internship Programme.

• Duration: 24 Months
