Role Purpose

To carry out timely, high-quality planned, preventative, and emergency maintenance on specified air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water reticulation units — ensuring alignment with the company’s maintenance strategy and delivering excellent client service standards.

Main Responsibilities

As an Artisan HVAC, you will:

• Implement equipment service specifications per Client and Company requirements.
• Install and commission air-conditioning and water reticulation equipment to specification.
• Conduct scheduled, preventative, and emergency maintenance and fault rectification.
• Inspect facilities and equipment, identify areas of risk, and report findings.
• Ensure all fault rectification complies with legislation, SLAs, and job plans.
• Deliver quality work within required timeframes and provide regular feedback to Supervisors and Clients.

Qualifications & Skills

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications:
  • N3 – N6 in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Trade-Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration).
  • Matric (Senior Certificate).
  • Valid South African Driver’s License.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an HVAC Artisan.
  • Skilled in maintaining air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation, and water reticulation systems.
  • Knowledge of digital control systems and HVAC-related legislation (OHS Act).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (Intermediate).
