Role Purpose (Storeman Opportunity)

To manage the receiving, issuing, and control of stock within the Stores Facility while maintaining accurate inventory records on SAP. The Storeman ensures smooth stock flow, compliance with materials management policies, and safe, well-organized storage conditions.

Main Responsibilities

As a Storeman, you will:

  • Receive and issue stock both physically and via SAP.
  • Maintain 100% stock accuracy and take accountability for all stock movements.
  • Follow up on outstanding purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Uphold safe stacking, housekeeping, and compliance standards.
  • Source replacement items for obsolete stock.
  • Conduct quarterly stock takes and maintain filing of issue and receipt slips.
  • Perform other related assignments or duties as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Matric (Senior Certificate) essential.
  • Added Advantage: Certificate in General Administration and Code B Driver’s License.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a stores or inventory environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Customer Service and Administration experience.
    • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Customer-focused mindset.
    • Strong planning and scheduling ability.
    • Teamwork and relationship-building skills.
    • Problem-solving and interactive reasoning.
    • Clear oral communication and good listening skills.
