Job Overview (Consumer Care Learner )
Experian is looking for a Consumer Care Learner to join our Customer Service team in Stellenbosch. This permanent, full-time role is vital in managing consumer disputes and ensuring strict compliance with the National Credit Regulator (NCR). Key Responsibilities
As a Consumer Care Learner, you will:
- Handle a wide range of consumer queries through email, web, and digital channels.
- Take inbound calls to assist with credit report-related questions.
- Log, investigate, and resolve consumer disputes following regulatory standards.
- Support Experian’s self-service platform, Up, by assisting with activations and unlocks.
- Engage with consumers via Facebook, WhatsApp, HelloPeter, and Experian’s chatbot, Ed.
- Provide professional, timely, and accurate consumer support across all platforms.
What You’ll Need
- Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
- Customer Service Certificate (advantageous)
- Previous experience in a Contact Centre or customer service environment
- Proven ability to deliver customer service excellence
- Skills and attributes:
- Customer-centric mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Digital adaptability and social media savvy
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Initiative, accountability, and resilience under pressure
- Team collaboration and follow-through
- Tech literacy and target-driven approach
