This fixed-term contract programme is designed to empower local talent, provide valuable industry knowledge, and prepare you for a successful future in the mining sector.

  • Duration: 12 Months
  • Remuneration: Market Related Stipend

Programme Highlights

As a Mineral Processing Learner, you will:

  • Attend mine safety inductions and follow strict health and safety procedures.
  • Assist in collecting and preparing plant samples for analysis.
  • Take part in improvement projects and problem-solving activities.
  • Monitor and report on plant operations under supervision.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, teamwork, and a willingness to learn from industry experts.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics and Science.
  • A valid driver’s license.
  • Proof of residence (including high school attended) in the John Taolo Gaetsewe District.
  • The ability to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate.
  • Willingness to complete a Dover Assessment as part of the selection process.
