Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Driver Messenger vacancy, applicants must have:

  • Grade 10 or equivalent qualification with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • A valid Driver’s License (essential).
  • PDP (Professional Driving Permit) will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).

Key Duties & Responsibilities

As a Driver Messenger, you will:

  • Drive light and medium-sized vehicles to transport passengers, mail, and documents.
  • Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and report defects.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and prescribed records.
  • Render clerical support and messenger services within the office.
  • Collect and deliver documentation and items across the department.
  • Handle copying, packaging, scanning, binding, and faxing of documents.
  • Deliver mail daily to various regions.
  • Keep proper records of all deliveries and track documents.
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
