About the Programme (DSAC Internship Programme)

The Department of Sport, Arts and Culture invites applications from motivated and qualified South African students for its 24-month Internship Programme. This initiative provides practical workplace experience across multiple fields within DSAC, offering a stepping stone towards a career in public service.

All internship opportunities are based in Pretoria. Applicants must have access to a computer, smartphone, or internet to register and apply via the DSAC e-Recruitment system.

Stipend: R7,860.50 per month

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Senior Certificate/Matric (Grade 12) plus a 3-year Degree or National Diploma (NQF 6) in the relevant field as recognised by SAQA.
  • Citizenship: South African citizen.
  • Skills: Good communication, basic IT literacy, and a willingness to learn and work in a government environment.
