About the Learnership

The Gaming Operation Learnership forms part of Carnival City’s commitment to South Africa’s national skills development agenda.

This programme leads to a National Certificate in Gaming Operation (NQF Level 4) and is designed to improve employment prospects within the gaming industry.

Successful candidates will:

  • Complete an accredited NQF Level 4 qualification

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Gaming Operations Learnership, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent
  • Minimum 50% in English
  • Minimum 60% in Mathematical Literacy or 50% in Mathematics
  • Be a resident of City of Ekurhuleni
  • Be between 18 and 30 years old
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have no criminal record
  • Must not have participated in a learnership programme before

Work Conditions

Applicants must be willing to:

  • Work shifts (including weekends and public holidays)
  • Work in a smoking environment
