Minimum Requirements

• ABET / AET qualification or equivalent, recognised by SAQA
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to read and write

• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and gardening principles
• Ability to operate basic garden equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of maintenance and safekeeping of equipment
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform general assistant and support duties
• Maintain premises and surrounding areas
• Maintain and safeguard gardening tools and equipment
• Move furniture and equipment when required
• Remove garbage and empty boxes
• Assist with receiving stock and goods
• Report losses or damages to equipment
• Load and offload goods
• Clean government vehicles
