General Worker Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker at Tiger Brands, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in operating equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensuring compliance with HACCP principles.
• Identifying and reporting on corrective actions when necessary.
• Reporting on wastage and maintaining accurate records.
• Conducting necessary quality and safety checks.
• Recording downtime of equipment.
• Keeping the workplace and equipment clean.
• Reporting and correcting any deviations under the guidance of a Supervisor.
• Following all safety regulations and reporting unsafe practices.
• Maintaining personal hygiene and factory hygiene standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company safety and hygiene standards.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
• Commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment will be advantageous but not essential.
