About the Packaging Learnership
Dreaming big is part of our DNA. This Packaging Learnership offers unemployed South African youth an opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification while earning practical workplace experience in the food and beverage manufacturing environment.
Successful learners will sign a 12-month fixed-term contract and complete both on-the-job and off-the-job training, leading to a SAQA-accredited National Certificate in Food and Beverage Packaging (NQF Level 3).
Learnership Structure
This structured learnership programme includes:
- Integrated on-the-job and off-the-job learning
- Practical workplace exposure aligned with theoretical training
- Training based on SAQA-registered unit standards
- Continuous workplace assessments using approved assessment criteria
- Development of value-adding, job-ready packaging skills
Upon successful completion, learners will receive a national qualification registered on the NQF.
Minimum Requirements
To qualify for the Packaging Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Mathematics and English passed
- Technical qualifications (N3, N4, N5 or N6) will be an added advantage
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
