The Western Cape Government, Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport (DCAS), is inviting applications for the position of Library Aid at the Library Service in Stellenbosch.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with good organizational skills and a passion for supporting library services.

- R138 486 – R163 131 per annum (Level 02)

Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10 (or equivalent qualification)
Competencies:
- Understanding of stock and stores control measures
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong numeracy skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Good communication skills (verbal & written)
- Interpersonal skills
- Advantageous: Valid Code B (or higher) driver’s licence
- NB: Applicants with disabilities that restrict driving but have reasonable transport access may also apply
Duties
As a Library Aid, your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and handling of library stock and equipment
- Performing postage and messenger duties
- Providing auxiliary library services
