Key Responsibilities

As a Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice, you will:

• Receive structured on-the-job training and mentorship.
• Assist with refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical fitting tasks.
• Participate in practical problem-solving within engineering projects.
• Be accountable for quality workmanship and timely delivery.
• Gain exposure to industrial refrigeration systems in the fishing and manufacturing environment.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this Refrigeration Mechanic Apprentice opportunity, you must meet the following:

Educational Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Science.
• A minimum N2 certificate in one of the following Engineering trades:
  • Refrigeration
  • Electrical
  • Mechanical Fitting

Additional Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of refrigeration, electrical or fitting (advantageous).
• Previous refrigeration working experience (advantageous).
• Willingness to commit to a 3-year apprenticeship contract.
• Willing to work shifts and participate in learning programmes.
• Must be available immediately.
