About Nampak Trainee Production Operator Learnership 2025

Nampak, in partnership with Optimum Learning Technologies, is offering 48 exciting learnership opportunities for unemployed South African youth to train as Trainee Production Operators. This NQF Level 3 Occupational Certificate Learnership combines expert training with workplace experience in South Africa’s largest beverage can manufacturing facility.

What You’ll Do

During the 12-month programme(Trainee Production Operator Learnership), you will:

• Attend theoretical training at Nampak.
• Gain hands-on workplace experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Rotate between different roles to enhance skills transfer, competence, and flexibility.
• Learn plant safety regulations, shadow experienced operators, and perform operational duties.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for Trainee Production Operator Learnership, you must:

• Be a South African citizen.
• Have Grade 12 with Mathematics, Physical Science (40%+) and English.
• Hold a National Technical Certificate (advantageous).
• Be unemployed and at least 18 years old.
• Have basic computer literacy.
• Reside within 50km of Nampak Springs.
• Demonstrate strong technical skills, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic.
