Key Duties & Responsibilities

RCL Foods General Worker must be able to:

• Remove foils before packing
• Collect crates with pastry trimmings
• Conduct x-ray checks on trimmings
• Assist with packing during staff shortages
• Join pastry and fill hoppers
• Perform online QC checks (egg wash coating, pie shape, filling accuracy)
• Ensure no blockage in spiral systems
• Replenish egg wash supplies
• Pastry portioning, box assembly, de-boxing, and divider insertion
• Maintain food safety and quality standards as per SOPs and RACI Matrix

Minimum Requirements for RCL Foods General Worker

• Matric / N4 or equivalent qualification
• Numerical and reading literacy
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role
• FMCG experience is an advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions
• Understanding of food safety procedures
