Programme Overview (PG Glass Work Integrated Learning)

PG Glass is creating a talent pipeline to support future employment through various structured learning and development programmes. These may include:

• YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme
• Learnerships
• Graduate Programmes
• Work Integrated Learning (WIL)

The PG Glass Work Integrated Learning is designed to give young, unemployed South Africans hands-on work experience while building their careers in a variety of business areas.

Available Opportunities

Contact Centre Trainee

• Handle inbound calls, emails, and customer queries.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries efficiently.
• Ensure every customer interaction results in a positive experience.

Autoglass Trainee

• Install, repair, and replace automotive glass on various vehicles.
• Deliver high-quality, accurate workmanship.
• Apply technical skills with precision and attention to detail.

Customer Service Consultant

• Manage the front desk at a fitment centre.
• Support daily operations, sales, and compliance with business processes.
• Provide professional customer interaction and leadership support.

HR & Finance Trainee

• Assist HR and Finance teams with administrative and operational tasks.
• Support business functions and gain exposure to corporate systems.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Matric (Grade 12)
Relevant HET (Degree/Diploma) in:

• Business, Retail, or Operations Management
• Marketing Management
• HR or Finance

Relevant NATED (N6) qualifications in:

• Management Assistant / Business Management
• Office Management
• Supply Chain Management
• Fitting & Turning (Engineering Studies)
• HR or Financial Management
• Call Centre related qualifications

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and telephonic skills
• Excellent customer service ability
• Computer literacy (MS Office)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisational skills

Additional Criteria

• Must be a South African citizen
• Age: 18–29 years
• Must be unemployed and have no criminal record
• Cannot have been registered previously on a YES4Youth Programme
• Driver’s licence is an advantage (not mandatory)
