Job Overview (Sales Assistant)

Aeroton Bakery is seeking a target-driven Sales Assistant to support the Salesman Driver in daily delivery operations and cash/tray collection where applicable. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and are committed to accuracy, attention to detail, and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Salesman Driver in delivering Premier products to customers.
• Check company products against the loading sheet and sign off accurately.
• Ensure adherence to standard departure times.
• Take responsibility for vehicle safety and hygiene.
• Collect cash from customers and cash in daily (where applicable).
• Offload products safely at customer locations.
• Report all accidents or incidents immediately to the Transport Department and Service Manager.

Skills and Attributes Required

• Strong people management and relationship-building skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Self-motivated, responsible, and target-driven.
• Comfortable working in a pressurized, high-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• 1–2 years of FMCG sales experience preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License Code 10/CI with PDP.

Work Conditions

• Work in a pressurized, 6-day per week environment.
• Required to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays as per roster.
• May be required to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.
